13 Week Session

DivorceCare

Tuesdays @ 7:00 pm
Beginning September 3, 2024


You don’t have to go through it alone.

Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before.


DivorceCare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each session has two distinct elements:


A Seminar with Experts

During the first 30–40 minutes of the meeting, each DivorceCare group watches a video seminar featuring top experts on divorce and recovery subjects. These videos are produced in an interesting-to-watch television magazine format featuring expert interviews, real-life case studies, and on-location video.


A Support Group with Focus

After viewing the video, DivorceCare group participants spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in the lives of group members.

GriefShare

Tuesdays @ 7:00 pm in Person
Beginning September 3, 2024


GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.


It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. GriefShare will help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life!


There are three key parts to your GriefShare experience:


Video seminar – encouraging, information-packed videos featuring leading grief recovery experts.

Support group – small group discussion about weekly video content.

Workbook – journaling and personal study exercises that reinforce the weekly session topics.


GriefShare is an open group – you are welcome to start at any point. The session is led by facilitators that have experienced loss and grief and understand how you feel. There is a small cost involved that covers your workbook and other small expenditures.

Financial Peace University

Thursdays @ 7:00 pm

Financial Peace University is that plan. This 9-week class, taught by money expert Dave Ramsey, can change your financial story in a matter of weeks – and your family tree for generations to come.

Mental Wellness awareness seems to be on the rise. We are finally getting serious about taking care of ourselves and that includes our brains and minds, which controls the brain. 


Paul in Romans 12:2 pleads with us, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good and pleasing and perfect will."  So how do we accomplish this? Reading God's Word, the Bible, is essential, but there are often some "patterns" we need to shed in the process.
